About Me

Siobhan is a writer and registered nurse based in New York City. She has worked as a staff and travel nurse in various units and locations from an intensive care unit in Baltimore, MD to homes in Anchorage, AK. She received her Masters in Nursing from Johns Hopkins University and her Masters of Fine Arts from the Bennington Writing Seminars.

Her work can be found in Bellevue Literary Review, Intima, Yellow Arrow Publishing, and Trails Magazine among other publications. Her essay "Officium" was selected as a notable essay for Best American Essays 2025 and chosen as the nonfiction honorable mention for the Spring 2024 Felice Buckvar prize in Bellevue Literary Review.
